GQC analysis was done on one XY samples (QZ1372) at the time of importation and the results of the analysis are congruent with the SDS. The background is C57BL/6NTac and there is no evidence of a secondary background. The mitochondrial genome and Y chromosome are consistent with C57BL/6NTac. The Cre construct is detected in the sample.

The genome of the MMRRC: 37396 strain is 100 % inbred and 100% congenic at the strain/substrain level which is consistent with the number of backcross generations reported in the SDS.
WARNINGS
  • There is a discrepancy between the diagnostic backgrounds detected ((C57BL/6J and C57BL/6NRj) or (C57BL/6JRj and C57BL/6NRj)) and the primary background (C57BL/6NTac) and secondary background (C57BL/6J). This is uncommon and should be investigated further.
